The Saxony-Anhalt foreign subsidiary e.V. (AGSA) is an umbrella organization of currently 45 member organizations, most of which work on a voluntary basis for democratic cooperation in diversity. Since 1996 the AGSA has been the sponsor of einewelt haus Magdeburg, the place for intercultural encounter, learning, working and networking in Magdeburg with nationwide appeal. The AGSA motto “Designing Diversity with Commitment” stands for a cooperation and network philosophy that appreciates and promotes commitment. Under the AGSA umbrella, bilateral societies, European political associations, migrant organizations and associations of global learning regularly offer platforms for exchange, information and encounters. The AGSA combines competence, experience and variety of methods at the interface between full-time and voluntary work, civil society and administration, in youth and adult education. Together with its member organizations, the AGSA works for a social, solidary and fair Europe, which stands for justice and the protection of human rights both within and beyond its borders.
