Europäische Jugendbildungsstätte Magdeburg (EJBM)

The European Youth Educational Center Magdeburg (EJBM) integrates the concepts of international youth work and counselling on mobility opportunities for youth. We organize and implement (international) seminars, workshops, youth exchanges, training courses and other events. While doing so, we focus on basic political and European education. We support young people to reflect on their surroundings and to understand how political decisions influence on their daily lives. Thus, we aim at empowering them to take a stand for themselves and to become active citizens in their countries and on an international level. In 2019 we founded our own youth council in order to support our youth educational sector – to make it more participative for young people and to have a voice on how to make the facilities more attractive for youth. Next to our youth educational branch we are also a multigenerational house, and a hosting organization for volunteers in the European Solidarity Corps
